NTT DATA and NVIDIA Scale Enterprise AI Factories for Production-Ready Solutions

NTT DATA has unveiled a new initiative aimed at delivering NVIDIA-powered platforms designed to provide organizations with a repeatable, production-ready framework for scaling artificial intelligence (AI) across enterprise environments.

The offering integrates NVIDIA’s GPU-accelerated computing capabilities and high-performance networking with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software—including NeMo and NIM Microservices—into a full-stack, agentic AI platform. This platform can be deployed flexibly in both cloud and edge settings, supporting the entire AI lifecycle from model training to enterprise application development within a governed structure.

Bridging the Gap Between AI Pilots and Production

Abhijit Dubey, CEO of NTT DATA, highlighted a shift in how enterprises approach AI. “By integrating NVIDIA technologies into our enterprise AI factories, we’re providing clients with a powerful, secure environment to adopt agentic AI with measurable returns from the outset,” he stated.

NTT DATA’s enterprise AI factory model addresses a critical challenge that has hampered many AI initiatives: converting successful pilot projects into fully operational production systems. The platform standardizes outputs and aims to reduce both the time and costs associated with moving from proof-of-concept to operational deployment.

Early Adopters Showcase Real-World Impact

Several early deployments illustrate the practical benefits of this AI factory approach. For example, a leading cancer research hospital employs NVIDIA HGX platforms combined with NTT DATA and Dell technologies to accelerate advanced radiology analysis and rapid model evaluation, enhancing clinical research workflows.

In the automotive sector, a global supplier has shortened production setup times by validating workloads on bare-metal infrastructure before scaling via the AI factory architecture. Another deployment in technology manufacturing involves a U.S.-based firm using NVIDIA-accelerated simulation and 3D visualization to validate next-generation battery production lines prior to physical rollout.

NeMo and NIM Microservices: Core Components of the AI Factory

Technically, the platform integrates two key NVIDIA components. NVIDIA NeMo is a toolkit designed for building agentic AI systems on GPU-accelerated infrastructure, while NVIDIA NIM Microservices offer pre-built, GPU-optimized containers with APIs for deploying AI applications. Together, they form a full-stack, production-ready AI agent platform as described by NTT DATA.

NTT DATA also offers pre-qualified generative AI prototypes based on this stack, which help reduce complexity and accelerate client time-to-value for sector-specific AI applications.

John Fanelli, Vice President of Enterprise Software at NVIDIA, emphasized the demand for scalable AI platforms: “Enterprises are seeking robust, scalable solutions that can transition AI initiatives from pilot phases to full-scale production. NTT DATA’s AI factory offerings deliver the domain-specific solutions necessary for production-grade enterprise AI.”

Strategic Positioning and Market Context

NTT DATA uniquely operates across all three of NVIDIA’s partner tracks: Solution Provider, Cloud Partner, and Global System Integrator Partner Network, enabling comprehensive support and deployment capabilities.

This announcement arrives amid growing pressure on enterprises to demonstrate tangible financial returns on AI investments. The enterprise AI factory model aims to systematize governance, performance, and scalability—key factors driving decision-making in AI spending.

By providing a domain-specific delivery model with NVIDIA’s technology stack as a common infrastructure base, NTT DATA envisions accelerating AI adoption across diverse industries.
